DAY 1 - NAIROBI, KENYA

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel, situated

within the city centre. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 2 - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Depart after breakfast driving through the ever-changing countryside to traverse the Great Rift Valley and ascend

its western rim into the Masai land arriving at your Lodge in time for a late lunch. An afternoon game drive to view

the large variety of wildlife to be found here. BLD

DAY 3 - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities.

The most spectacular feature is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the plains of Serengeti

that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara’s grasslands from late June, tracked by predators:

lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and circled by vultures as the journey unfolds. Apart from the seasonal migration,

game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes: - elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, Burch ell’s

zebra, hartebeest, various antelope and gazelle, lion, leopard, giraffe, elephant cheetah, hippo, crocodile and much

DAY 4 - LAKE NAIVASHA

Breakfast at your lodge before driving to Lake Naivasha – the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes –

arriving at your accommodation in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you may take an optional boat trip on the lake.

This area is famous for its birdlife – a breeding ground for pelicans, fish eagles, cormorants and more. Other

animals such as hippo, zebra, antelope and Colobus monkeys can also be found here. BLD

 

LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA LODGE

 

DAY 5 - AMBOSELI

In the morning drive to Amboseli National Park situated at the foothills of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro – the

highest mountain in Africa. With Kilimanjaro's 19,680-foot-high snow-capped peaks presiding over the landscape,

the setting is unrivaled. Almost nowhere else on the continent is more wild elephant seen than in Amboseli

National Park. BLD

 

AMBOSELI SERENA SAFARI LODGE

 

DAY 6 - AMBOSELI

Morning and afternoon game drives to view wildlife against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. The park offers a wide

variety of wildlife but the principal attraction is its vast herds of elephant within the park. The bull elephants here

have some of the largest tusks in Kenya. Other game includes: zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, leopard, caracal

and serval cat. The park boasts a rich bird life such as ibis, egret, avocet, common and saddle-billed stork,

secretary bird, heron, vultures, ducks, and geese. BLD

 

AMBOSELI SERENA SAFARI LODGE

 

DAY 7  - ARUSHA, TANZANIA / LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

 

After breakfast drive to the border post of Namanga where say goodbye to your Kenya driver/guide then clear the immigration formalities. You will be met by your Tanzania driver/guide and continue on to Arusha where you stop for lunch.

Time to visit the Shanga Gift and Workshop before driving on to Lake Manyara National Park Arrive at your Lodge for dinner and overnight

 

DAY 8 - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Depart the Lodge and enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, whose inhabitants include

hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. After a picnic lunch set out for the

drive to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing en route to your lodge for dinner and overnight. BLD

SERENGETI SERENA LODGE

 

DAY 9  - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

A Hot Air Balloon Safari is a possible option in the early morning. This will be followed by lunch in the Lodge and an

afternoon game drive.

Otherwise a full day game viewing on the endless plains of the Serengeti offers a chance to see the great herds of

wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The migration herds may still be found in

this vast wilderness. BLD

 

SERENGETI SERENA LODGE

 

DAY 10 - Sun - SERENGETI / NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Leave your Lodge for a game drive through the Serengeti National Park. After a picnic lunch continue your drive to

Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some

of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Your journey continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area,

arriving at your Lodge, perched on the rim of the Crater with spectacular views. If time allows you may take an

optional escorted walk around the Crater rim before dinner. BLD

 

NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE

 

DAY 11 - NGORONGORO CRATER

Today, taking picnic lunches, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 metres) to the floor of the crater for a day crater

tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the

flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Return to the rim of the Crater and if time allows

take an optional visit to a nearby Maasai Village before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight. BLD

NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE

 

DAY 12 - Tue- NGORONGORO / ARUSHA / ZANZIBAR

In the morning, taking picnic lunch boxes, drive to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival you will be met and

transferred to your beach resort on the North East coast. Your accommodation is in a garden room on and includes

breakfast and dinner. BD

DAY 13 & 14  - ZANZIBAR

You have three days to enjoy the amenities at the Resort, up take optional activities or just relax and listen to the

DAY 15  - ZANZIBAR

At a suitable time you will be transferred to the airport. B

Safari optional activities

Serengeti:- Hot Air Balloon Safari will pick at 5:00 a. to arrive at he launch site where the Balloons rise up at at

dawn (6:30 am) The flight lasts for 1 hour and on landing you area offered sparkling wine with full English bush

breakfast before returning to the lodge.

Balloon Safari - US .$475 per person

Ngorongoro:- Guided nature walk around the Crater Rim US $ 50 per person.

 

Maasai Village visit US $ 60 per vehicle.
