Tunis, the modern metropolis of Tunisia, on the lake of Tunis is full of surprises  A city of tree-lined boulevards, modern buildings, and bustling pavement cafes, with a distinctly European flavor.

 

A different side to its character is evident in its medieval Arab medina, exotic maze of narrow, angled streets lined with tiny shops, grand mosques, and impressive palaces. The ancient city of Carthage and the pretty village of Sidi Bou Said are well-known excursions from Tunis.  

 

Hammamet too is one of Tunisia's main tourist hotspots with a convenient location less than an hour from Tunis airport and some gorgeous sandy beaches.

DAY 1:

 

  • Arrival at Tunis – Carthage Airport

  • Welcome by one Professional  Guide

  • Transfer by deluxe private air-conditioned coach to Hammamet

  • Arrival at Hammamet and check-in at your Hotel

  • Lunch at the Hotel

  • Time to freshen up and rest

Afternoon, visit of Nabeul ( capital of pottery ) and  Hammamet city center with time to have mint tea + Tunisian pastry at typical café  in Hammamet city center

 

  • Dinner at an outside restaurant in Hammamet  city with return transport and assistance

  • Overnight at the Hotel in Hammamet

 

DAY 2:

 

  • Breakfast at the Hotel

 

  • Full  Berber day tour with typical lunch and activities in Hammamet countryside by jeep.

 

  • At 09 h 00: departure by the Jeeps to visit the salt lake ESSALLOUM in the countryside of Hammamet

 

  • 10 h 00: departure to visit the 2  Berber villages TAKROUNA and JERADOU with mine tea and some typical pastries

 

  • Then departure to JEDIDI ( the Berber countryside of Hammamet ) for  lunch with the folk show under typical restaurant followed  by dessert under Berber Tent

 

  • Evening, Dinner at an outside restaurant at the Marina in Hammamet with return transport and assistance

 

  • Overnight at the Hotel in Hammamet

DAY 3:

 

  • Morning, Half-Day Boat trip to discover the coasts of Hammamet using the typical old boat with soft drinks on board

 

  • Menu lunch at one restaurant in Hammamet city

 

  • Afternoon at leisure

  • Dinner and overnight at the Hotel of stay

 

  • Return back to the hotel for overnight stay

DAY 4 :

 

  • Breakfast

  • Full day tour to Bardo  Museum, Tunis  Medina and its souks, Carthage and the village white and blue SIDI BOU SAID with typical menu lunch at one of the restaurants in the Medina of Tunis

  •  Visit of Bardo Museum ( Largest Exhibition of mosaics in the World ) followed by Visit to the Oriental Old Medina of Tunis and its Souks . Enjoy lunch at a fine restaurant  in Tunis Old Medina

 

After  lunch, visit the CARTHAGE Ruins followed by a visit to the Village White and

 

Blue -SIDI BOU SAID. At the end of the visit, enjoy tea and pastry at one of the Cafes

 

 

  • Back to Hammamet round 18 h 00 to freshen-up

 

  • At 20 h 00: departure for a Wonderful Gala Dinner  with 1001 night show

 

GALA DINNER at SHEHRAZED restaurant in the MEDINA MEDITERRANEA with a wonderful oriental show presenting palaces life, stages 1001, perfume, the 7 veils dance, harem mysteries, belly and folkloric dances accompanied with typical music.​

DAY 5:

 

  • Buffet breakfast at Hotel

  • ​

  • Morning visit of Kairouan the SAINT CITY ( first mosque in North Africa  - OKBA  IBN NAFAA MOSQUE

  • (“ THE GREAT MOSQUE” OF KAIROUAN ) Then lunch at local restaurant in Kairouan or in Sousse

 

Afternoon visit Sousse Resort City and Port El Kantaoui - Back to Hammamet

  • Buffet dinner at the Hotel in Hammamet - Overnight

DAY 6:

 

  • Breakfast

  • Day at leisure with lunch, dinner, and overnight at the Hotel of stay

Day 7 :

 

  • Breakfast

  • Morning at leisure OR  visit of the marina of Hammamet and the medina Mediterranea.

  • Check-out and transfer to Tunis

 

  • Lunch at a Seaside Restaurant  inTunis

  • Transfer to Tunis Airport

 

  • Check-in at the flight of departure
